Battle Rap Veteran Breez Evahflowin Returns With New Album "F.U.N.😐 The Fierce Urgency Of Now"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The album speaks on inequality, injustice and the broken state of political discourse in our society. The new album is the culmination of 5 months where the featured artists involved capture this concerning moment in history.
In his own words "...this... is a project started in September of 2017. I was fearful for the future in a way I haven't felt in a long while. I couldn't pretend what was going on was ok any longer. I reached out to friends & artists and they responded in amazing ways. I'm not sure what kind of an impact this is going to have but I'm hopeful it can at least raise awareness, some funds for a worthy cause and inspire others to do the same." - Breez Evahflowin

80% of the album proceeds will be donated to the Community Justice Project which is a local, non-profit organization based in Florida. Their mission states: "In our legal work we collaborate closely with community organizers and grassroots groups in low-income communities of color because we believe that a more democratic, more just and more equal society can only truly come about through grassroots organizing and social movement."

Honoring Breez's commitment for social impact, Benevity, a global leader in workspace giving, matching, and volunteering has pledged to match all donations generated by the F.U.N.😐 album 2 to 1 through December 2018.

"Any support you could offer would be deeply appreciated." - Breez Evahflowin

About Breez Evahflowin:
A member of the Stronghold underground rap collective, MC Breez Evahflowin (born Enrique DaSilva) was a leading force in the New York, as well as national, battle rap scenes during the late '90s. Among several other achievements, He was crowned the national grand champion of the famous Blaze Battle competition in 1999 sponsored by HBO and was 5 week battle champion on MTV's DFX.

While his participation in battles waned, he aligned himself with the independent rap movement that was beginning to take shape during that same time period. During his freestyle rap days, he was a part of various local groups that put out vinyl and even released his own solo 12", "Forsaken," in 1996, which appeared on the BBE Music compilation Hip-Hop Forever (1998) by DJ/producer Kenny Dope. He recorded singles for an assortment of different indie labels, including the Boston-based Detonator Records as well as contributing a slew of guest appearances on records and tours.

During his tenure, he has worked with several A-list underground rap artists including Vast Aire, Immortal Technique, Slug, Chali 2na, Swave Sevah, Poison Pen, Craig G, Rob Swift and Molemen. Breez offered the Fly EP on Just Be Records in 2003, but released his first proper full-length, Troublemakers, collaborating exclusively with producer Dirt E. Dutch, on Little Ax in 2008. In 2009 Breez followed up with the Breez Deez Treez LP with West Coast producers Davey Tree & Noah D. In 2010 Breez released what was to be his final LP As He Goes On and took a long hiatus to focus on family. In June of 2017 Breez returned to making music partnering with buzz worthy producer Deep of the 2Hungry Bros to release Deep Breez in digital, cassette and limited edition 45 inch vinyl. Breez currently resides in Hollywood Florida with his wife, son and dog.
